DJ Trevor
Growing up playing violin/fiddle, etc. here in Nashville/elsewhere on tours, I expanded into performing world music in a variety of ensembles and many time periods, so I know this music well. Additionally, I include language elements in shows, as I perform with a Tribal-Affiliated "Drum" singing/dancing/supportive percussive instruments in several dialects, many of our songs pre-date the U.S. (one Kiowan song's lyrics, "yah-day-dah..." we, as Eastern Siouxans sing as "yah-may-mah", so there is variance in how Drum Circles/Singers pronounce commonly-used songs. We are Tenn. Melungeon people affiliated with a Sovereign Tribal Nation with pre-Colonial Treaties still in effect. I operate a nonprofit foundation for human/planetary wellness as well as several other small businesses related to 4 academic degrees. Some of the artwork/crafts we create is on my website are for sale with Certificates of Authenticity/Tribes disclosed in compliance with Indian Arts & Crafts Act as members of a State-recognized Tribe, and some of our playlists/activities' timing center around the Lunar Cycle Calendar as found on a turtle's shell, such as the Harvest Moon/Corn Moon near our Green Corn Ceremony.
